Privacy Notice

Home Privacy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This notice explains what personal data Truwitz Inc. (“Truwitz”, “we”) collects through truwitz.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only — not any separate agreement you may have with us as a client.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they arrived. It does not load unless you accept it. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics data is collected at all.

When you do accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, your device and browser type, and the site or search that referred you. IP anonymisation is enabled. We use this in aggregate; we do not try to identify individual visitors from it.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. If you book a call through our scheduling form, that form is hosted by Jotform and the details you enter are processed on their systems as well as ours.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies before you consent. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page — that entry is strictly necessary for the site to respect your decision, and it stays on your device. Accepting analytics additionally allows Google to set its own cookies.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics, and on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in responding to enquiries and running our business for correspondence you initiate. Where we are negotiating or performing a contract with you, Art. 6(1)(b) applies.

Who else processes this data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

International transfers

Truwitz is based in the United States, and the providers above process data in the United States. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, this means your data is transferred outside your home jurisdiction. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, on Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We retain business records, including correspondence and enquiry details, for seven years, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics. You can ask us to delete data we hold about you sooner — see Your rights below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already happened. To exercise any of these, email info@truwitz.com.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Germany that is the supervisory authority for the federal state in which you live.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and the date at the top, and ask for consent again where the change requires it.
